I was on a retail walk through for Felt bikes at REI and found a couple projects we worked on. Packaging designs for Giro and product graphics for Camelbak. Still selling at retail bro! Call me for a bigger idea.

CUPONK new toy branding system for Hasbro
BXC has finally completed the branding of a new Hasbro game hitting retail this summer. CUPONK is skill game based on extreme cup pong. It’s pretty simple. A ball and a cup. But in no way easy. In BXC and Hasbro style CUPONK has been taken to a new level of imagination, skill and gameplay. There are playing card point-based tricks, sound effects and unique collectable art on each cup using skate, snow, surf and street artists from around the world. BXC was responsible for helping define the brand DNA, logo, packaging, taglines, and product graphics and illustration art direction and worked hand in hand with the Hasbro creative team. Hasbro will be releasing several unique and collectable designs by fall. The TV spot here was created by Hasbro agency of record and directed by some famous skate punk. We’ll add more artists credits when we get more info.
“…the artwork, from the graphics on the cards and the sides of the cups to the store packaging itself is inventive and doesn’t hold back in style or attitude.” K. Able – CTV’s TechLife
Illustrators on this project launch included Bethany Ng bethanyng.com, Chris Philpot chrisphilpot.com, David Wong davidcwongart.com and Travis Pitts zom-bot.com.

CAMELBAK Podium Product Graphics
I just got back from Interbike in Vegas. This is evidence of the Podium water bottle product display carnage at the Camelbak booth. Apparently their new bottles (that we did the graphics for!) were the hottest item (water bottle) at the show. Everyone that walked by their booth lifted a sample and left the poor product managers and sales reps running around confiscating and rebuilding the display each day. By day 3 most had given up (as seen here). I think this is a good sign for what may happen at retail next year, except fort the shoplifting part.
Here are the renderings before final production. They look way better in real life. We should see these in stores this coming winter Holiday season.

HOT WHEELS Branding & Product Graphics
I never thought I’d see the day when one of my logos would be on a Hot Wheels car! These graphics will be used on HW merchandise world wide and will include backpacks, clothing and cars. Some of these are in stores or will be in the near future. I found two cars at Target and Walmart. A special thanks to Dave at 13th Floor Design and their client Hot Wheels/Mattel for allowing me to collaborate on this project.
Some of these logos are on merchandise and on sale now at the Hot Wheels Design Lab here… http://www.zazzle.com/hotwheels
Of course I had to remove the rare speedwheels version from the packaging!
Art Directed by Dave Parmley and Eric Ruffing of the 13th Floor for their client Hot Wheels/Mattel. Logos Designed by Drew Dougherty of BXC Inc. All art owned and copyright of Mattel Inc.
