Jenga Packaging redesign by BXC

Jenga is the classic 80′s game of dexterousness and mental strategy and has been spilling it’s natural wood contents across living rooms, dens and bars across the world since the 80′s, maybe longer. I was shopping at Barnes and Nobel with my kids and to my surprise, and not quietly grabbing my attention, there she was! Finally in retail, the new Jenga packaging we designed and co art directed with the Hasbro Team. We had limitations to meet including costs, retail space , consumer storage etc not to mention telling the story of excitement of game play to all nations. I’m super happy how this turned out and no doubt we will see the Jenga brand rise again and again and again!

New R/C packaging hits retailers

BXC worked with Maya RC to develop a new rebranding system for their California custom designed RC race car and off-road vehicle line.  The project included over 18 sku’s and is consistant from Off-Road Race to Drifter. You can find the final product in stores now.  I found several 1/16th scale cars at Target this week. They look insane and fast! I’ll post a before and after when I find a shot of the old looking boxes. * The above boxes were final round comps built here in the USA at the BXC studio using an ancient American graphic design process. Thankfully lots of band-aids were within reach and not many fingers were lost. Product photos were taken by James Cassimus Photography in San Clemente.

Team Hot Wheels Logo & Driver Icons

Finally something worth bragging about! Some of our work on real Team Hot Wheels product, and not short of a huge bang either. Here’s a few shots I found online of Tanner Foust for the Indi 500 special event “Fearless at the 500” Hot Wheels put on. BXC had the opportunity to help Mattel’s crew design the final team logo and driver icons and a portion of key art found on product and event merchandise.
