PATAGONIA 2011/2012 Logo Screen Prints

Patagonia called BXC for screen print concepts and we just couldn’t say no to the opportunity of expressing our inner-outdoor persona’s. These two fine examples of underwear gone out are just a few of what we created for the 2011/12 surf wear line. We found them on patagonia.com and they’re shipping now – earlier then expected. New R/C packaging hits retailers

BXC worked with Maya RC to develop a new rebranding system for their California custom designed RC race car and off-road vehicle line. The project included over 18 sku’s and is consistant from Off-Road Race to Drifter. You can find the final product in stores now. I found several 1/16th scale cars at Target this week. They look insane and fast! I’ll post a before and after when I find a shot of the old looking boxes. * The above boxes were final round comps built here in the USA at the BXC studio using an ancient American graphic design process. Thankfully lots of band-aids were within reach and not many fingers were lost. Product photos were taken by James Cassimus Photography in San Clemente.

Team Hot Wheels Logo & Driver Icons

Finally something worth bragging about! Some of our work on real Team Hot Wheels product, and not short of a huge bang either. Here’s a few shots I found online of Tanner Foust for the Indi 500 special event “Fearless at the 500″ Hot Wheels put on. BXC had the opportunity to help Mattel’s crew design the final team logo and driver icons and a portion of key art found on product and event merchandise.

CALLAWAY’S Annual Report Design

Just a quick brag from our photoshoot for Callaway’s annual report. This is one of our “pocket dump” beauty shots. We got all GQ on ‘em. Photo was shot by Jorge Salas and art directed by Drew Dougherty at BXC and our Callaway CD. This image is RAW and has not been retouched at all (not yet at least). The book should off the press by now and in the hands of lucky shareholders shortly.

BXC migrates to Doheny (we’ve moved!)

CALLAWAY GOLF Catalog Design

BXC had the opportunity to play with one of the big boys this summer. Callaway Golf asked BXC to redesign their sales catalog for 2011 technical softgoods that included bags, golf shoes, gloves and accessories. The project included initial design and layout concepts and photography art direction. Photography was done by CMG of Carlsbad, California.

CUPONK new toy branding system for Hasbro

BXC has finally completed the branding of a new Hasbro game hitting retail this summer. CUPONK is skill game based on extreme cup pong. It’s pretty simple. A ball and a cup. But in no way easy. In BXC and Hasbro style CUPONK has been taken to a new level of imagination, skill and gameplay. There are playing card point-based tricks, sound effects and unique collectable art on each cup using skate, snow, surf and street artists from around the world. BXC was responsible for helping define the brand DNA, logo, packaging, taglines, and product graphics and illustration art direction and worked hand in hand with the Hasbro creative team. Hasbro will be releasing several unique and collectable designs by fall. The TV spot here was created by Hasbro agency of record and directed by some famous skate punk. We’ll add more artists credits when we get more info.

SOCKWA SHOES New Logo & Tagline

Sockwa Inc. of Ventura, California colaborated with BXC this past winter to freshup their young brand with a new logo, tagline, brand DNA , merchandising and product ID inspirations. Sockwa was developed originally as a beach sport sock for AVP players and Barefoot soccer league players and has grown internationally as an ultra-light outdoor/indoor shoe. Expect to see Sockwas in gyms, yoga studios and on the beaches this summer.
